Have you been fully compensated?

The Financial Compensation Centre have appointed solicitors expert in Banking and Finance law to take forward claims on behalf of our clients to ensure they are fully compensated for their financial loss resulting from PPI sale.

Using established law and recent decsisions, including an important finding at the Supreme Court, they have been able to obtain compensation in the following circumstances

  • Clients were told they had 'no PPI' or that lender had 'no record of the client'
  • Clients had their complaint turned down by the lender or Financial Ombudsman Service
  • Clients were paid compensation but could have received more

The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) lay down a set of rules with regards to how complaints should be handled and the amount of compensation paid to customers who were missold PPI. Many firms have been fined by the FCA for not dealing with customers according to these rules and in some circumstances denying compenastion to clients by incorrectly, claiming that PPI policies were properly sold when this was not the case.

The rules regarding PPI redress sought through legal means are different and can lead to payments being made to clients who were previously rejected and ADDITIONAL payments being made to clients who have ALREADY ben compensated.
